inCarDoc is a comprehensive car diagnostic tool that provides valuable information about your vehicle. It offers features such as Check Engine code reading, diagnostics, car scanning, monitoring, and a logbook tool. It is designed to read both real-time and stored diagnostic parameters from the ECU of OBD-II compliant cars.

Please note: To use inCarDoc, you will need an ELM327 or compatible OBD2 car scanner. The app supports various OBD-II scanners, including Bluetooth, WiFi, Kiwi 3 (BLE), V-Gate iCar 3 (BLE), Veepeak (BLE), Carista, Vinli. Additionally, it offers GPS-only and Demo modes. For limited functionality without an ELM327 scanner, you can use the GPS mode, which provides information such as speed and altitude.

🛠 Car diagnostics

inCarDoc functions as a fault code OBD2 car scanner. It can read the state of the Check Engine (MIL), provide detailed information about related freeze frame data, and clear stored diagnostic trouble codes (DTC). This feature is particularly useful when looking for professional service or repair assistance. Please note that the app only supports parameters and ECUs specified by the OBD2 standard, which include Engine and Emission systems.

⏲ Real-time car parameters

inCarDoc reads real-time engine and vehicle OBD2 parameters PIDs from various sensors in your car. These parameters include speed, rotation (rpm), coolant temperature, pressure, O2 oxygen sensors, and many others supported by your car. The app offers chart drawing and analog/digital widgets presentation for a better understanding of the data. It's important to know that the exact list of scanned OBD2 parameters depends on your car's make, model, and year.

⛽ Economizer

The app includes a convenient Trip Computer mode that enables you to track your car's fuel economy and consumption. It provides in-drive data such as instant and average MPG, as well as statistics for each trip or day. To ensure accurate calculations, you may need to enter your engine displacement (in cubic cm) and volumetric efficiency (in %). The default volumetric efficiency value is 80.

Please note: Avoid running multiple OBD-II reading apps simultaneously to ensure a stable connection with your ELM327 OBD2 scanner.

• Device & app history: Used to self-identify the application when running in the background.
• Location: Provides extra GPS parameters for fueling, service search, and tracking.
• Photos/Media/Files: Allows storage and reading of "Logbook" and debug data as direct user actions.
• Other: Enables Bluetooth communication with external OBD2 scanner and publishing "Logbook" records to the server as direct user actions.

Warning: There have been reports of issues when using certain cheap "clone" versions of ELM327 scanners, especially those labeled as v2.1. If you experience any troubles with adapters, please contact us by email and provide information such as the naming, MAC address, ELM327 firmware version info, and connection log.
